How do you get the graffiti area to collapse? I wanted to check out how much more I can see (e.g. dtbk 5) with the graffiti area collapsed, and I have a friend who has an NRV that I can use, but he has no idea how to collapse the graffiti.

Thanks.

Scott

There is a little blue square with an arrow in it (pointed downward) in the bottom right-hand corner of the graffiti area. Just press it.

If the button is shaded, then the application you are currently running does not permit the collapsing of the graffiti area.

There is a little blue square with an arrow in it (pointed downward) in the bottom right-hand corner of the graffiti area.

Actually, that is for the NX and NZ series.

The collapse button for the NR series is fourth from the left on the very bottom of the screen.

First button is a duplicate of the silkscreen Home or Apps button.

Second is a duplicate of the Menu button.

Third is another Find button.

Fourth is the collapse button.

If the button is shaded, then the application you are currently running does not permit the collapsing of the graffiti area.

That is true for all three series.

If I remember correctly, none of the apps on the NR70 allow for collapsing the virtual graffiti area. PG Pocket does show images full-screen though. The NX and NZ series are better equipped software-wise in this regard.

There are many add-on apps that DO take advantage of the full screen resolution, though. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can even replace the address, datebook, to-do, and memo pad applications with versions supporting the full screen views. There's an entire thread on that subject in fact (search for "NX Apps" and you should find it).
