O.K., folks, I've checked all the wireless hotsynch threads, and still can't find out what I'm doing wrong. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone out there can give me.

I hav an NX-80 and a WL100 card. I can access the web just fine, but not hotsynch. I'm thinking I may have something set wrong here's my settings:
Moden Sync Prefs- set to Network
LANSync Prefs- set to LANSync
Primary PC Setup- PC Name = !!, PC Address is set correctly
Connection Setup- kinda confused here- tried both Standard Modem & Wireless: neither one worked

Any ideas?

Make sure Hotsync Manager on your PC is set to allow Network sync as well.

Make sure network hotsync is the only thing checked when you right click the hotsync manager. Or else it won't work.

Does anyone know of a way to sync to my home pc without being in the same hotspot?

No offense CGorman, but I have never had any problems with having multiple methods selected on the computer. Also, magicboy, make sure you have your computer selected as the main computer for a network hotsync under setup>network. You might want to recheck ip settings, as these can change if the router resets.

CGorman, im sure its probably possible to hotsync from a different access point but somewhat difficult if you have a firewall in your router. With a windows firewall you can simply disable it the first time you connect to hotsync but if the fw is built in to the router then I dont know any way to easily bypass it.

Thanks for all the help. I had lansync set wrong, and now it syncs just fine, and it's O.K. with Local USB and Network selected in the hotsync manager.
