I tried to find this info by doing a forum search - it's probably there somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Please forgive me if I am rehashing old stuff!
So, my questions: can MP3s be played on the T615C? If so, how do I get it to work? Do I need to download a certain program? Where do I find the programs I need? (Free is good, but am willing to download a reasonably priced EASY TO USE program).
Can ya'll direct me, in very simple step-by-step terms, how I can play MP3s on this machine.
With many thanks!

There is, unfortunately, no very simple way to play MP3s on a T615. Sony used to sell an adapter which plugged into the Memory Stick slot, but it was pretty pricey and now you'd probably have to buy one used if you could find it at all (you could try the Sony on-line store, though, they still may be clearing them out). Better bet would be to move up to a T665, which had all that stuff built-in.

In order to play MP3 files on your T-615 you will need Sony's PEGA-SA10 Audio Player Adapter, It is an expensive toy, I bought mine at ebay for $80 one year ago.
This adapter enables you to play 96 and 128 kbps MP3 encoded files from a memorystick (without a memorystick there is no way to play music). So you need a Memorystick too.
Actually I use it on my hacked SL10 to play music.
This adapter is no longer sold by Sony, the only way to get one is second hand.
Regards.
