Greetings all.
I just had a couple of questions regarding this new wonder that Sony has dropped on us.
First and foremost, I see that it has user-swappable batteries, and I'm very happy about that. Anyone hear logically how long one can have the battery out of the device before it wipes the RAM? At the moment I'm assuming that it's similar to all the AAA units where it'll last for up to 30 seconds to a minute before all your data is lost. Just curious if anyone else has heard anything specific.
In tandem with that, does anyone know if the batteries will be chargeable OUTSIDE of the device?
Secondly, what's the resolution on the video capture? The two megapixel camera is nice (I've got a standalone of that res, and it's fine for what I do), but I believed the NX's video capture resolution was something like 1/4 of its still picture resolution.
I skipped on the NX, believing that Sony would release something newer in a few months. Lo and behold, I come here after a couple of months of absence and I see this. Now I'm debating on whether or not my autographed NR with Bluetooth stick and Stowaway can be retired, or whether I'll wait another few months and see if Sony ups the internal RAM and moves the hotsync port back down.
