Dear all,

please help!!

I just upgraded to a TJ37 from a Tungsten E. Now, went through the whole process of migrating all databases to Clie Desktop but have somehow not figured out how to migrate the birthdate field.

As you might now, newer Palm branded PDAs come with an upgraded contacts PIM. Birthdates show up as another field (as oppossed to a calendar event).

Would like to know how to retrieve the data from those fields and migrate it to my new Clie as calendar events.

Thank you so much for your help!
olivaresfelipe.

I have no idea how to help you with that, but once you get your birthdays over to the clie: Look into Happydays a palm app that uses a renamed custom field in your address book to put birthday notices into your date book. It will give you warnings X number of weeks ahead of the birthday so you can remember to send a card or a gift.

If you archive your T|E calendar file to a Datebook.dba file, not Calendar.dba, I think that the archive converts the T|E birthdays to untimed events. You can then import the datebook.dba file to the Clie desktop and have your birthdays there.
