when I launch a prog it immediately closes

I start acidimage and it closes with saving preferences. It does it with other progs as well. any ideas

Hmm, have to think about this one.

Are you using a 3rd party launcher?

The apps, are they in RAM or the memory stick?

Is there a screen protector in use?

Do you have a stuck button some place, like the back button?

Using zlauncer. Apps are on either mem stick or internal. No screen protector. Cant see any stuck buttons. Ill disable zlauncer and see if that does it. thx for the idea!

I encounter this before.
After delete and reinstall, the app works fine again.

I had this happeneing when I was launching apps from the memory stick with zlauncher because I didnt have enough free ram to copy the program over before launch (it gave me no error message) once I copied some more porgrams to the memory stick and deleted some things I didnt need out of ram I didnt have any more problems.

I don't belive zLauncber will show an app that is on mem stick if the mem stick is not in the device.

Powerrun will do this when the app is known to Powerrun and on mem stick and the mem stick is not in the device. In this scenario the icon is pointing to a shortcut to the app that is on the stick.

Very true on a single app, it seems there is more than one. The lack of memory is a definite possibility. It's hard to tell how much expertise the individual has or how good their memory is. In my case, I suffer from CRS :D !

Sounds like lack of memory all right. I had a similar problem. I also use ZLauncher. Try moving or deleting apps.

ive had the same problem on numerous occasions.....

Zlauncher allows you to create shortcuts of programs. as an example when you install a program on memory stick sometimes the icon does not appear in the main section of Zlauncher. Also when you move a program from main memory to card (by using powerrun as an example).

when you delete the real program, the shortcut does not get deleted as well.

when you run the program from the shortcut it looks like its opened the program and immediately closed it. its actually trying to find the 'real' program but had no luck.
