I had no difficulty installing the clie software on my pc with win xp but when I tried to do so on my laptop with win 2000 pro, I keep getting an error message that the install wizard is interrupted and no changes are made to the system. It allowed me to install some drivers individually but not the palm desktop with intellisync. I am not worried about palm desktop--I don't use it but I do need intellisync. Any ideas? (I don't currently have any security software running-I uninstalled it but it did not help so that wasn't the problem).
Thanks,
Deborah

Hello All,
I have no issues for XP, but W2k seems to have some odd behaviour when trying to run Memory Stick Import/Export App.
Post installation of SCSI device drivers from Clie CD - Connect the PDA to PC via USB cable then activate Memory Stick Import/Export App on PDA.
On its first run: Windows runs the wizard to install the newly discovered PnP device.
It then stops when it fails to find "NTMAP.SYS" on the Clie disc. Which so happens to be a Microsoft system file written for WinME/98SE!
I downloaded the missing file from DriverGuide.com and then setup fails!
 My get around is "Take XP laptop to work insert Memory Stick from Clie, send file as an attachment to email and download file to office W2k workstation!"
Shame really, the PDA quite a decent size to carry data around from place 2 place!
