and I'm not ashamed!!!!! I don't care if your jealous and want to ***** about it. I LOVE it!!!! It is 4x better than my NX. The camera works well and has yielded some pictures I would have never gotten. I can surf longer with WiFi and someday when I have enough money saved up I'm gonna buy a really cool Emtac Bluetooth GPS receiver!!!!
Kinda of a start of a support group thingy seeing as we're all either insanely stupid or delusional or grossly ignorant about our PDA of choice according to recent posters. Fess up, people...You love that little peice of techno gadgetry!!!! It's our forum for our PDA, the current best PDA ever!!!! Let em grumble all they want....
BTW, I spent over 3 hrs today on WiFI internet surfing. I swear the battery depth is getting better!!!!

Don't you mean "What's your batterly life in 5 hours? 100%?" Or was that some sort of weird backwards talk...

1-i-sq, how did you derive the analogy of "nz is 4x better than nx" ? Just curious ...

heh, I meant with your unit at 100% battery and backlight at 50%, do you have around 5 hours of standby

sorta... not the 13 hours like some, but the normal 5 hours that most people get. Just weird that every little thing will make the battery drop fast. Like using a calc or using phone numbers. I'll see a drop of a few % when using it for just 2-3minutes.
Good enough to keep, but sad enough that I need to buy a $80 battery.

Hopefully your battery can be smart enough to give you a longer battery life as it progressive learn from your usage pattern (claim by some of the users in this forum).

I don't think that my NX is 4x worse than the NZ :(

I'm not ashamed either....
I'M DARN PROUD TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE ONE AND ONLY, UNIQUE, MYSTERIOUS, INGENIOUS, ONE OF A KIND, SOMETHING EVERYBODY ELSE IS JEALOUS OF BECAUSE THEY EITHER CANNOT AFFORD IT OR THEY REALIZE THEY STILL HAVE BILLS TO PAY SO THEY HAVE TO RETURN IT AND THEN BECOME OBSESSED WITH TRYING TO CONVINCE THEMSELVES THAT THE NZ WAS NO GOOD SO THEIR OLD PDA IS STILL APPEALLING TO THEM WHILE THEY CARRY THE RESENTMENT OUT IN MANY FORMS TOWARDS THEIR PDA COMRADES........AND THROUGHOUT THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES..............................

I love the NZ and have never been shy to admit that. I did a bunch of homework on it and (I kept it a secret 'cuz I didn't want to get my friend in trouble or get bombed with questions) I used a unit for two full weeks well before release date.
:D
It's never failed me - not once.
It's not dislocated my shoulder a single time lifting it.
I do not stagger to one side when it's clipped to my belt.
Having an NZ (I graduated from NR to Nx to NZ) has increased my work productivity by 300%
My backlog of casework has dwindled to a big fat zero.
I've even had a movie clip from my NZ stand up in court, and be one of the biggest pieces of evidence submitted to get a sweet conviction.
Yes, I did buy a 2nd battery; solely due to the fact that I use my NZ sooooo much. Big whoop. If that fact bothers you about your NZ consider this: An NZ is a HUGE departure from an Nx despite all comments to the contrary. With the cam, flash and bluetooth it's going to need a whole new set of power consumption metrics. If you're comparing your Nx to your NZ, I have news for you. You're comparing apples and oranges. One has nothing to do with the other.
(PLEASE, GOD PLEASE - don't turn this into another battery thread. I offer the above solely as my experience as an NZ owner (and one that's damn proud of it.)
My testing an Nx and further, the NZ in the field has produced a nice study for the rest of my department. We're looking at purchasing a bunch of these babies.
To those of you that contend that me (or any other NZ owner) have made concessions, the "truth hurts" about our unit, it's inferior, blah, blah, blah. I have two words for you and neither of them is "Happy Birthday". Go brow-beat some other group with your snide remarks. You and the rest of the seagulls have overstayed your welcome here.

Sorry, Oneeye. I promised my friend that I would tell NObody online. My sign on name is too easy to trace back to him and he'd have gotten busted bigtime.

I'm an NX owner and not ashamed of it. I hope though that one of your NZ users realize you can not afford such a device and should be paying your bills, decide to put it up for sale on ebay at bargain basement prices, and private msg me. Hehehe.
I wish I had one but alas not in my budget currently.
I'd have to change my cool login name too ;)
