Help, can't delete Textplus

I can't seem to delete the pap. It just gives me some error that it can't be deleted.

Any suggestions? Should I just wait until the trial period ends, then try it?

Nevermind. I just tried something. I erased the pdb file, then upon starting up it asked if it was the correct date (to verifity the trial period was still in effect). I liked and said it was the incorrect date, then it said it was expired. And I could finally delete it.

I figured I would keep the post up in case anybody else had this problem.

you need to deactivate it before you delete it. why did you not like it?

A few reasons:

1) The pop up window started to get annoying.

2) My two primary uses are PocketQuicken, which already has a built in text complete, and DateBK5. The dictionary won't have the store names for Quicken, and I dont' want to bother putting them in. I use datebook to plan and setup experiments in lab all day. The dictionary doesn't seem to have words like, adenovirus, electrophoresis, phenol/chlorofom, or transfection. I'm too lazy to bother programming them using the desktop utility. Besides, I have templates for most of these anyway.

3) I don't want to pay for it.

In order to delete Text Plus go to the TextPlus Anywhere Options and DISABLE this function.  That will permit you to delete the application.

If you don't want th have the TextPlus running for all yor applications go to the Applications menu and choose the ones you want.

I personally like TextPlus, and I can add words or phrases on the go.
