Help w. system update NX-60

I installed sonys system update & it conflicts with wordsmith making it inconvieniant to use. I cant uninstall the files on the clie,and the files dont show up in backup so i cant use a hard reset to get it off. Sony also dosent offer a rollback download.:( I admit i am stumpted on this one. :confused: :confused:

It does not conflict with my Wordsmith.

There should be no reason why you can't do a hard reset. The update only added files in RAM. The update does not flash the ROM. A hard reset will wipe the update files away. Some have blamed everything under the sun for the update. Two NX Clies at this location went smooth as silk.

I just checked, my update files were backed up by MS Backup.

Are you asking about the avatar? That is in your profile.

I was thinking if you had a backup prior to the update, you can restore from that. A hard reset would clear out everything, including the update. If you have the update on the backup, then you would have to manually delete those files and hope that's all you need to do. Otherwise, you would have to re-install everything as a new clie.

I have Wordsmith v2.2 only, so apparently you have a later version.
