The T68 Bluetooth drivers don't work with my T68i :(
Actually, I downloaded the T68 drivers (not T68i) at http://www.palm.com/support/accessories/sms.html and I set my T68i to "discoverable" and press Search button on the Clié Bluetooth T68 Connection setup screen. NZ90 can't find my T68i (*).
I don't understand why it doesn't works because before installing these drivers, I can successfully exchange data (contact record) from the Clié to the T68i. In addition I paired the Clié and T68i successfully. I install the drivers because Palm SMS needs them.
I installed T68i modem drivers (coming from Sony Connection Manager CoMa) successfully : When I press the "search" button, they find the phone.
(*) : Once I've press the Search button, there are no BT connection at all. I can't send data to the T68i (it's not found by the Clié). I must stop and start again Bluetooth on the phone, then I can exchange data from / to the Phone again.
Do you know where I can download drivers for T68i and Palm OS 5 ?
Thank you

You still have to configure it. Its under preferences-phones-select BT to E.t68. THen edit that choice, make sure it says connect:phone, via bluetooth, device T68i(your name maybe different), model Erricston t68. Then click ok. It'll fail the "test" button, but it will connect.

Hi There,
Thank you for your help
Eduardo, a new NZ90 user ;) , send me the Sony Ericsson T68i phone drivers. I tried them this morning and they work fine (no error, test connection successful).
Here are the drivers T68i phone drivers: Sony Ericsson T68i phone drivers. (http://balloy.free.fr/clie/Sony-ET68i.zip)
Thanks again Eduardo :)

Using the SMS program installed in the NZ 90 plus the driver for the phone which I later installed (see messages above) I was able to send my SMSs. However, I did look at the provided documentation and performed a test with my PDA in order to see if I could send multiple SMSs and the result was negative.
Of course I can prepare several SMSs and send them, but not to multiple users at a time. I guess this is a limitation of the program itself, to which I could not find an answer.

Help !
I send my first SMS from my NZ90 : Palm SMS (Palm OS 5 built-in software) -> Bluetooth -> T68i.
My friend tells me he has received the SMS on its new Panasonic GD87 phone. Unfortunately, he can't read it : The phone prints "8-bit SMS" and fails to open it. :(
What is 8-bit SMS ? How can I tell my NZ90 to send "normal" SMS (my friend can read all SMS I write and send from T68i itself).
Thank you

It may seem silly what I am to say, but....
Haven't your friends checked their phone instead ? Maybe the problem is with the receiver and not with the transmitter.

Hello Eduardo.
You may right. May be Panasonic GD87 phone (which receives the SMS) may be set-up to read 8-bit SMS coming from NZ90. But I definitively don't understand why when a write and send the SMS with the T68i only, the Panasonic GD87 can read it and not when I use my NZ90.
You are right : I will try with another phone. I hope it will work, because if it will not, I must ask to all my friends to set-up their phones differently (if the setting exists) because I send SMS with a NZ90. Oops, Bad idea !
I don't find information's about 8-bit SMS nether in T68i menus nor in NZ90 menus :(

I have, as you know, a NZ90 + a T68i.
Try sending an SMS using the NZ to your own phone number. That should prove it works.
As far as myself, I have used my settings and driver (the same you have) to other friend's phones, and never got any problem reported.
Good luck.

I still got problem with the above mention solution. It even prevent me to surf net thru. bluetooth. I had to do a hard reset to solve it (still can surf net but not the sms program-the most i can use is the ifra red function). Is there anything i had miss out apart of the above mention method?

I installed T68 drivers for my T68 and could send and receive sms, but 90 % oft the SMS can not be read by nokia phones. They get an error like "text can not be displayed" when opening the sms on theyr phone. I can read the same sms when I send it tom my onw mobile phone (t68) ?? What's going on?
