Seeing as how I've been doing a bunch of *****ing and moaning about the lack of topics around here, I guess I better put my money where my big mouth is.

The following is an on-the-fly list of topics. Feel free to add your suggestions. Better still if you see a suggestion you like, start a thread and run with it.

**Apps that I really want for my NZ and can't find anywhere.

**Best picture I've gotten with the NZ so far (include a pic if you feel like it. This one could also expand to the movie viewer too.)

**I've just been promoted to Chief Designer for Clie's. Here's what I'm going to put on the drawing board. (Immediate 100 pt loss for making a spec "more than 11 megs" - everybody knows that one. Ditto on the CF drivers. Stay away from the obvious. BONUS POINTS: Coming up with a design suggestion that has serious implementation possibilities.)

**Setting up my NZ on my home wireless network. What to do and not do.

**Anybody found a realistic external keyboard for the NZ yet?

**NZ Add on hardware I'm dying to get my hands on

**NZ Add on hardware I'd just flat out love to see

**Seeing as how we'll probably never see the card reader portion of the NZ activated stateside, what would you put in it's place? That's a bit of dead real estate there.

**Has public exposure of your NZ inspired anybody else to seriously consider one?

**Now that I have my NZ, how do I keep my laptop from getting lonely now that I'm not dislocating my shoulder lugging it around?

OK, I'm stretching on the last couple of them but you get the drift.

(edit: The other reason that I've put this thread in motion is that I noticed in lurking the last two weeks by that alot of NZ owners are low-totalled posters which probably suggests they are new to this board. Why the hell should they spend their time defending their purchase and NOT spend it on something more productive? Just a thought...)

I agree, threads along these lines would be worth my time to read, anyone out there want to start one?

Another topic:

I have techno-lust and admit it proudly. My next great acquisition after my NZ is....

Bonus points if the acquisition is something that would be a complimentary suggestion to the NZ, i.e., a GPS system (if they even make one for the damn thing. Not my area of expertise here...)

Emtac makes a bluetooth GPS unit that works with Mapopolis reportedly. I know of no Palm based GPS programs that currently receive GPS output via BLuetooth yet. Cetus GPS is my favorite GPS freeware program. An email to the developer a whiles back yielded a reply that he was working on Bluetooth compatibility

My post would not be enough for a new thread, i think, so I'm just leaving it here. I used to have a palm VIIx, with internal modem and monthly internet service. I know about bluetooth and wifi cards, but I miss the accessibility of just logging on on the fly, without cards, configuring, and other devices.

The Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard is a realistic keyboard. Forget about portability though. :)

Littlesix, we just need someone in Sony that will tell what is coming out and when so we can quit screwing around buying Clies that we like but would prefer something better

That will be great ! But I doubt anyone from Sony will do that.
