View Full Version : How can i fit more songs on my UX

I have a ux50 and i was just wondering if anybody could let me know any tips/programs that would allow me to fit more music on my UX right now i have a 64 mb memory card and i can fit 10-12 average sized songs, and i really want to be able to fit more without making the quality go way down, so please if you have any idea let me know thanks

i have a 128mb stick and i can put 35 songs but thats on mp3 mode does anyone know how toput more songs on.......atracformat maybe? i could never get my sonicstage software to work with my ux...anyideas please

You should try the OGG Vorbis Audio format. It use a much more efficient compression system than CBR MP3. All you need is an OGG encoder (I recomend you dbPowerAmp, it's very simple, yet very powerful) and an Audio Player like PocketTunes (with OGG capabilities) on the UX50.

Lower quality encoding (detailed elsewhere in another post). I listen to a lot of music on planes, and a lower bitrate than 128kbs+ sounds fine.
