If anyone is interested in doing some testing, I have posted the new version of ZL Iconset Factory on my web page:

This upgrade is free to registered users. Just use your original User ID and Reg codes.
For others, the program will operate in demo mode.
New Features in this version:
1) Add a watermark to all icons for commercial iconsets.
If you create iconsets for sale, this feature will automatically add a "Demo" watermark to all of the icons for demo versions of your iconset.
2) Built-in crop and scale routines.
Now if you add an image that is larger than the maximum size of the icon, a window will appear to allow you to either crop or stretch the image to the correct size. There is also two crop methods available. You either use a square aspect ration, or you can select the same aspect ratio of the icon you're creating. The program will also allow you to use images that are considerably larger than the final icon size.
3) The scaling routines in the program now resample the image for improved quality. So if you use the auto low-res feature, the low res icons will now look better. (This method is also used for scaling and cropping mentioned above.)
The program also incudes the new "Music" ZL system icon.
Since this is a beta version, you may want to install it to a different location than the older version.
If you do install it to the same location and have manually added any program icons, see the included text file for info on backing up your dat files. After doing this you should uninstall the older version first.
