Anyone know of a good app that converts video files into clie format?
I have over 200 "Simpsons" episodes that I have *downloaded* and I thought I'd be able to play them on gMovie. Well, the PictureGear software does convert them and I can view them fine on the Clie, BUT there is no audio. It seems that the audio files of the videos are not being compressed/converted/whatever happens to them. I called Sony and the rep mentioned the Kinoma player and that they might have a converter that converts audio, too.
Has anyone had any experience with this problem? Preferrably, if thee was a free app that would be better.
One other tidbit: for some reason when I converted a "Simpsons" clip that was about 8MB, it went fine, with audio and all. But when I do the full episodes, which are usually between 30MB-50MB, the audio doesn't get converted. Is it the size? I did notice that the clip had something called an "AUDIO CODEC: PCM", if that helps.
