Being both fairly new to the TH-55, and merely a lurker on this board for the past month and a half, this question may already have been addressed. However....
I've just ordered Presenter-to-Go ("PTG"-- Margi Systems part #26001) for the Clie. With subsequent poking around on the Margi site, I see that they are not specifically supporting the TH-55. They apparently have some sort of upgrade for OS5, though not specifically OS 5.2.1. Furthermore, Margi seems to suggest some sort of incompatibility with Palm Desktop 4.1, though the user can manually transfer the .pdb files created my the PTG software.
Will this product work with my TH-55? Have I made a big mistake?
(Addendum: Interestingly, a "trial version" of Presenter-to-Go is present on the TH-55 installation CD. The on-line manual for PTG says to use the version on the PTG CD when installing.)

"Exploded" sounds pretty bad-- is this a serious reply?

I asked Margi if they would support TH55 and they replied "No" as Sony were pulling out of the market.

Khad_o and Sparkyclie,
Thank you very much for your replies. I think that "esth55" was teasing all of us with the "exploded" comment. The Sony hardware's pretty stable, eh?
However, I'm very curious what you (Khad_o) have heard about the performance. And, Sparkyclie, I read that hardware support would not be offered for the newest Clie's (eg: UX series, TH55, and etc. running OS 5.2) on the Margi website. But, all of the PTG documentation states that the package will work on all Memory Stick Clie's. And, Sony did include a trial version on the TH55 installation CD. Finally, given the increasing rarity of Clie accessories, I've been trying to acquire the various products, such as PTG, that I might find particularly useful in my work (I do a lot of teaching).
Since I've already ordered the product and cannot change the order at this time, I guess I'll just sit tight, and then report back as to my experiences. Thanks again for your comments-- any additional PTG experience reports from other users will be most appreciated!

Thank you for the links, Khad_o. Based on all of the new information, I'm going to try to cancel my order. Looks like "hardware incompatible" means "hardware incompatible." Sigh.
Thanks again--

i know, upsetting really :( . i remember (vaguely, forgive me if im wrong) someone mentioning having installed a patch or something but that didnt work either. Presentation turned out not as presentable as thought. sorry for ruining your day. look at it this way. You've got a great PDA!! :D

Do you have a Bluetooth TH55? One of DocsToGo's competitors (I think it was QuickOffice) was advertising something similar to PresenterToGo, except that it connected via Bluetooth. That's even cooler than PresenterToGo!

Alas, I do not have one of the European Bluetooth-enabled TH-55's, though perhaps Khad_o does.
iGo (www.igo.com) markets a product called the "Pitch" which is available in a Bluetooth version, and also a version that connects through the USB cable. I believe that Pitch does indeed use QuickOffice, though I am confused as to just how it works. The blurbs on the website are less than clear in this regard. Apparently, the IR capabilities of the PDA are used as a "remote control" for the projected slides. I don't know if Pitch creates the same, bonafide XGA-resolution Powerpoint slides as does PTG. Oh, well-- guess that it's just academic for me.
Even with this disappointment, I still agree with Khad_o-- I really like my TH-55.
