This (http://sonyelectronics.sonystyle.com/micros/clie/demo/wireless.html) demo from Sony suggests that the KB11 (or a model that looks the same) is compatible with the NX70 (Click on "Al's Room" in the right bottom corner -> A compact keyboard is listed...)

Is this true? I thought the kb11 was only compatible after a little modification

Notice it also calls it an "NX70X". Since this is a Sony website, I wonder if this is an upgraded model or simply a typo.

What modification is this? I have the KB11 an NR and an NX - the KB11 definitively doesn't work with the NX, one of the reasons why the NR is still my main PDA (Quicksheet, Smartlist and Doing being the others).

I mailed Sony re updated drivers (I knew I was wasting my time - see this forum at length) only to get the usual "we are unable to comment about anything at all, but thank you for letting us know you exist and we hope this helps" response.

Yes, there is a modification of adding a resistor in series with a diode. Then use the Tungsten-T beta keyboard driver. Let me find the thread. Al's room is an error and it was misleading!

Larry - thanks; unfortunately this looks a bit out of my league, but who knows......!
