Hello,
Can somebody suggest a great offline web browser for the NR? I want to take advantage of HiRes+ by browsing on full screen and possibly high resolution images. Thanks.

HandStory!
While not without its limitations (what program doesn't have limitations) I find HandStory to be the "number one app" for the Clie. I can effortlessly clip Web Pages, photos, text--all by just right-clicking on the desired content. For text-only, it also works with Word, NotePad, or for that matter, ANY program that can copy text to the Windows Clipboard. The resulting file is a standard Palm DOC file. The "Copy from clipboard" function also works for graphic images, too!
For off-line web browsing, you can set up pages to automatically update, keeping you up-to-date. Unfortunatly, here is one of its limitations: you cannot specify WHEN it will update. It just updates once per day the next time you are connected to the Internet. of course, you can always "force" an update with just a couple mouse clicks.
In my opinion, this is the BEST $29.95 I have ever spent for my Palm/Clie!

what about Mac support? Handstory doesn't allow for "web-clipping" for Mac's. Anyone know of any programs that will work w/ Mac and Hi-Res???

Plucker is available for Windows, Mac and Linux at www.plkr.org and the HiRes+ part is at http://hires.plkr.org .

RepliGo is fantastic as a offline browser! Additionally you can manually send web pages to the clie and view them, great for PDF's too!

I think we have a semantic problem here.
A web browser is different from a viewer that can read HTML.
An offline web browser includes an automated desktop component that hotsyncs a web site, usually once a day. This is different from something that converts an HTML file to be viewed on a PDA.
RepliGo looks like an excellent document viewer, that includes PDF and HTML files, but I don't see anything like Plucker, Isilo or AvantGo that fetches the same sites every day.
Thus it isn't an "offline web browser" - but looks to be a fine product nonetheless. I'm not sure if this is what Jeff was looking for, or if he wants an offline web browser.

One other important difference between RepliGo and HandStory/Plucker/iSilo/AvantGo: Site depth.
While RepliGo, in my opinion, renders pages FAR BETTER than any other app currently available, it has no facility to handle web page links. That's where apps like HandStory (etc.) shine.
Just yesterday, I wanted to save to my Clie a "HOWTO" document on "Configuring Linux's IceWM Windows Manager" from a web site (I'm trying to tweak my hacked NetPliance i-Opener.) While RepliGo would have rendered the page perfectly, I would have had to save multiple pages separatly. With HandStory, it was simply a matter of right-clicking, selecting "Clip To Palm", and then set the page depth to "1". The result was a quickly saved, easily accessible, fully-hyperlinked document.
When RepliGo adds page depth hyperlink capabilities, then...well, you know the rest.

The further refinement present in Plucker is that you can exclude any links that are outside of the site you are looking at, and you can also specify to only include links that match a regular expressions (such as "www.cliesource.com/.* ").

All -
PocketLink has just been updated to 2.55 which says it will read HTML files and JPGS directly from the MS - haven't tried it, but if it does, no more 'clipping/converting'...just saving to MS...
