Power48 v1.5 beta now available!

Greetings All!

For those who are interested, I'd like to announce that there is new version of Power48 (version 1.5 beta) available at http://www.mobilevoodoo.com/ . The primary change in this version is a new ROM conversion system that alllows for ROMS and object files to be installed directly to an expansion card without the use of an external card reader, or to be installed directly to internal memory without needing any external expansion card.

Thanks for the update. I'd love to see a Financial calculator version. You've done a great job on the HP48/49 series you've done so far.

Is is my imagination or is the latest beta a bit slow. It seems to run slower than the previous 1.4 version. I have a Clie NX60


*UPDATE*
i did some tests with version 1.0, 1.4B4 and 1.5B
I tried to compute 2^5000

1.0 takes ~7 seconds
1.4B4 takes ~4 seconds
1.5B takes ~9 seconds

The LCD refresh of 1.5B is quite slow. I managed to fix this by disabling all my hacks. The hacks didnt have much effect with version 1.4B4 though. Think I will keep 1.4B4 for the time being. Oh this is with HP49G emulation
