bluetooth with nextel. dream on.
get a cable from http://thesupplynet.com to connect ur clie to ur phone. then, get nextel's "dial up" plan. you will need a dial up isp (msn works well in this situation), but the dial up plan is free of charge.
pm me if u need more help. ive done this before

That is the reason I left Nextel no bluetooth phone. When will they get the point. Bluetooth phone with a radio that would be great.

But is Nextel or mobile phones companies who implement bluetooth to their phones/radios?

I guess thats a very good point. I think MOTOROLA would be the one to implement the new configurations within the phone. However, I do think it would be NEXTEL to give them the go ahead, because they do not have to accept the phones they make on their network. I just don't understand the situation its a win win or a break even situation. I will bet my life savings that if it were possible that they would not loose out. They are not catering just to corporations anymore, they came out with Nextel BOOST which proves that. What's the hold up? Does anyone know if the new i930 will have a disk slot, where I can have a bluetooth card in it?

I was supposed to be part of a study where I was given a new Motorola phone (that's not on the market yet) which is on the Nextel network to test. Supposedly it had everything plus the kitchen sink. They wanted me to use it for a month and give feedback.
Unfortunatley, the people doing the study and the phones themselves were coming from Florida (I have no idea why from Florida), but then those pesky hurricanes closed the airports. Wouldn't you know it.
I haven't been told if the study is still delayed or cancelled.

The i930 will have a SD card slot but so will the Phat Farm i833. I don't think the i930 will have bluetooth though. There is a bluetooth adapter available for motorola phones that can be tweeked to work with the i730,i830 phones but the programming is not there to make it work like other bluetooth phones. The reason the test phone is coming from Florida is because Moto has a big factory there.
