UX50 or UX40 ever get support for a Wifi or BT scanner app?

Well, the UX has the built-in wifi scanner, and the functionality of a BT scanner can be accomplished with the internal software, or with BlueJack, so i don't see what you're missing...

He might mean a WiFi "sniffer" app that can sometimes 'see' hidden WiFi networks, or even attempt to listen for passwords. They exist on the PocketPC, Palm, Win and Mac. They can be useful in an area that might have an open network simply 'hidden'. Of course I would never use one (*cough* MacStumbler).

The Palm version is for the Tungsten only as - according to the developer (all together now) - Sony refuses to release information on their implementation of WiFi on the Clies

Well, I suppose that would *cough* be handy for some *cough* things. I wish I had *cough* something *cough* like that too. I also wish I *cough* had some *cough* Robitussin. :)
