For some reason I can't seem to be able to logout. When I click on the logout link I get a message that I'm sucesfully logged out. Then I'm taken back to the main page and I'm welcomed back in :p

hmmm it seems to work alright for me.
I get a screen stating cookies cleared... do you?
Are you using anything to alter/manage cookies?
Another thing to check is the that the log out link has your user number at the end like this I think : http://www.1src.com/forums/login.php?do=logout&u=1189

Also you might want to try the logout from control panel to see if that works if the main one doesnt. The control panel doesnt ask first....

It's definitely cookies. You might have logged in uding the cliesource.com or palmonecity.com domains. Just clear your cookies and make sure you enter the site and login through 1src.com.

This may help (from the FAQ: http://www.1src.com/forums/faq.php?s=&do=search&q=log+out&match=all&titlesonly=0)

If you return to the main index page via the link provided and you are still logged in, you may have to remove your cookies manually.

Here are the instructions for Internet Explorer 5 on Windows:
Close all Internet Explorer windows.
Click the "Start" button.
Move up to "Find" and click "Files or Folders" from the menu that appears.
In the new window that appears, in the "containing text" field, type in the domain name of the forum without the "http://" or "www." part. For example, if the forums' address was "http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/index.php", I would type in "vbulletin.com" (without the quotes)
In the "look in" box, type in "C:\Windows\Cookies\" (without the quotes) and press "Find Now"
After it has finished searching, highlight all files (click a file, then press CTRL+A) and delete them (press the "delete" key or SHIFT+DEL)
Your cookies should now be removed. You may want to restart the computer and revisit the forums to be sure.

I did a whole lot of throwing temporary internet files away from and after a while it worked. I indeed had some ClieSource cookies and 1src cookies. Dunno what finally clinched it, but after a few attempts it seems to work now.
