i need help. i need to trick my PEG-N710C into thinking that my 128mb memory stick is part of the ram to run large database apps. can annyone help me?

The limitation of memory sticks is the programs don't actually run off them. The contents need be loaded into RAM to run. There are programs like PDF readers that can handle large files because they are able to swap parts of files between RAM and the MS as you use them. These tricks are built into the program. There's no way that you as a user are going to be able to trick the Clie into doing something similar.

If it's a read-only database, you can use MSMount (Or MSMount5 if it's an OS5 Palm).
If you need write access then I'm afraid you're out of luck :(
