I don't have enough brain power to charge my NZ aswell.
I have just given my NZ a full charge and managed to get out just over 100 pictures with a flash and redeye reduction on (flash goes off twice).
This is what happened. I took 40 before I got the first battery warning, so I exitted the camera for a few minutes and the battery climbed back up to a reasonable amount.
After that I managed to get out almost another 40 before it stopped me again. So I done the same thing, came out of the Camera S application and given it a minute or 2 to recover.
After that I was forcing the flash on until it wouldn't let me use the camera at all.
I think thats better than what I've done before, and i'm happy with that.
By the way, after a full charge it says i have 6:30 hours left. That is with bluetooth enabled and screen at 33%.
Do you guys think thats normal?

Okay I am still wavering between the NZ and the TG50 but I do have a question on the battery issue which hopefully hasn't been asked.
I noticed in the online manual that it says to make sure that a couple of functions are turned off before initially charging the battery. With all the uproar over batteries, could the problem have been just not allowing the initial charge to go fully without playing with it? I know for me it is a temption to play with it while it is charging. However I am getting better about resisting the tempation and let it charge over night for the first time. Could that make a difference?
Just my two cents for what it's worth! Just drooling and trying to decide whether to do it or wait until they come out with a new edition? Any rumors? Really would prefer the 320x480 screen, better on my old eyes!!
