Do the zire 71 and 72 have the same 'dock' connector?

Just wondering as I may think of using a 72 to run scientific probe equipment.. But I only know for sure that there is a zire 71 connector.

Hello,

Unfortunately both units have different connectors. The Zire 71 has the Universal Palm Connector whereas the Zire 72 has only a USB connector just like the Tungsten E.

Thanks for the reply. Are there only those two connectors, is Palm moving to only usb? Or are we going to see perhaps 10 different 'Universal Palm Connectors'? Sigh....
