Earthlink Dial-UP Problem

I am using a Clie TH55 and trying to connect to Earthlink Dial-up in areas where my T-Mobile GPRS is not available.

I've searched and read all the posts and I believe I have it configured correctly, but obviously something is missing. When the phone starts dialing, and the Clie says "connecting", after a few seconds, the phone connects and believes it is involved in a call, but the Clie still thinks it is connecting.

There is no logging in, or shaking hands, it just stays on "connecting".

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be.

hmmm. perhaps its a username or password issue. some providers (like msn) require that u have a prefix before ur user name. for instance, with msn your username must be MSN/username@msn.com.

Call earthlink, and ask them if anything special is required for dialing up on a pda.
