I just bought a T665C, and it is the most expensive thing i own. Soo, what is the best way to protect it, should i get those clear thigns for the screen?
What case is the best, ive seen the aluminum ones, but they seem kindof worthless if the PDA is dropped.. cuz the metal wont absorb much of the shock will it. But it cant look bad either. ..
What do you do to protect yours?
Innopocket metal case + Brando screen protector. They're available here at GlobalSource :D

The screen protectors are cool. Or at least it seems that way. The plastic is softer and will show more lines and dents from use, but the glass is harder and may not show the same use.
I've had a screen protector on since the minute I took it out of the box. The sucka is all scratched up from the pen sliding across and tapping. I'm not going to take if off and see if the glass screen holds up any better. I might regret it. LOL

Get some sort of aluminum hard case for it. I own a Rhino Skin aluminum case for my 615c and yesterday I was out in my yard admiring all of my tulips that are coming up and oops....my clie slid right out of my shirt pocket and landed on my stone wall. The aluminum case now has scratches on both sides and one big gouge, but my clie is safe and unblemished. I think the $29.00 that I paid for the aluminum case is well worth it.

you might get a few scratches on a hard case (RhinoSkin or DSI are the two I recommend) but spending $30 for another case is much preferable to $350 for a new Palm.
i've never used a screen protector because it reduces the accuracy and feel of the digitizer, but i do have to extra careful not to scratch the screen-- don't use your stylus for anything but the PDA and you'll be fine. the most common way to scratch a screen is letting a friend play with it and they tap too hard; the second most common is using your stylus to press the buttons and it gets a little nick in the tip, which then scratches your screen.
be careful and you'll be fine.

Nothin is wrong with this one.. just seems like we're rehashing stuff that has 3-page threads on the subject with a lot of opinions already discussed. Just trying to save our fellow Clie member some time by telling him/her that threads are already available to read so they don't have to wait for replies.
Is this okay with you??

HUMM... i got this one
: http://www.sfplanet.com/MetalCase-Clie665.html
Bad choice?
Im worried that ill drop the PDA and the case will just pop open and the pda will fly out and become a $280 heap of trash
If you get a metal case, you will scratch your Clie in the process of putting it on. This is because the pegs that hold your Clie in place are razor sharp, and the dents/scratches will definitely show up well on your orange Clie.
