Have you tried out TextPlus 5.2 yet? It’s WAY COOL. It’s FAST. And it supports the Palm OS5 and Sony Hi-Res 320x480 screens.

It REALLY makes text entering in MOST applications FAST. I’ve had it on my NX-70 for a few days now with no conflicts. This sucker is FAST.

I highly recommend it.

It's made by SmartCell Technology. Not bad for 20 Bucks.

It's predictive but comes up as whole word list or phrases.

You can add your own additional words and phrases.

I like it because of its speed and minimizes my Graffiti strokes. I don't like to use screen protectors because I don't like the "feel" of them and TextPlus keeps me from writing on the screen. It also works from the Nx keyboard too.

how can you say this? Text Plus is not the actual way of entering text, it just makes it easier. You still need to either type, graffiti, jot or whatever to start entering the text in the first place.

Yup your'e right. I still have to Graffiti it in, but TextPlus allows you to customize the Word/Phrase Database, so I entered my own phrases that I use alot and it TextPlus pops it on the screen and I just tap to select it. And tada!!!! the phrase is entered.

TextPlus really minimizes the # of strokes.

You can add words on the fly or use their FREE Windows based Word/Phrase Database Generator program. I use both.

The DB generator program allows you to even "scan" a text file say like the Declaration of Independance and input every word in it, into the Word DB.

The other reason I like it is because it keeps my tapping/writing on the screen to a minimum. In the long run, I hope it will scratch the screen less.

If you haven't tried it, I think you should. You might like it.
They have a Trial Copy Version. Check it out.

I have both WordComplete and TextPlus. I prefer WordComplete because I can just click on a word and add it to my custom dictionary. very convenient.

I use Text Plus, and indeed it is an invaluable tool. However, in place of Graffiti I use MessagEaseST. It took some getting used to, but after learning this revolutionary text-entry system, I will never again go back to Graffiti.  There is a Yahoo users group devoted to this software, and the developer is always very responsive to the messages posted there. If you are sincerely looking for a way to minimize your stylus strokes, then this is it.
