Transferring Movies from Clie to PC

I just bought an NX73 two weeks ago. I brought it with me on vacation and took a couple of movies. I came home and transferred the MAI files to my PC, but when I opened the movie with Quick Time, it didn’t understand this file. I spoke to a rep at Clie tech support and he told me that I had to convert the MAI file into an MPEG file. He told me that gMovie could do this for me. I went on the internet to download a gMovie App for my NX73 but I couldn’t open it because I didn’t have Photoparade exe. What Photoparade software must I download in order to open up PRC. Files? Thanks in advanced for any help.

transfer the MQV files to your pc.
rename them to .MOV

then just open it up with quicktime.

I've all ready tried that one with no success. I changed the file extension to MOV and Quick Time still would not understand. By the way, I am using Quick Time 6. When I transferred the file from Clie to PC, I copied the file from the NX73 and I pasted it into a folder on my PC.
