Anyone else miss Cliesource?

This is a nice site, well run, neat and organized, but we are missing tons of people, and its much harder to find apps. People seem more miserable, and no one wants to help? I dont know if anyone else feels the same, but I had to say something. I know that some pinheads are going to jump on me for this thread, but I bet that far more people will agree with me.

I dont know nearly as much as many in here, but I help where I can, because people in Cliesource helped me, a lot.

I agree with the guys in here, before you ask, SEARCH, and RTFM, 2 of the most repeated things I ever read in Cliesouce.

NEW GUYS- read the last statement before you start typing, and dont be scared to ask questions, pda's are a wonderful thing if you can get them working right, and a useless POS if you dont. If theres anything I can do to help, I will.

For the ex-cliesource guys that help out, kudos to you all, many thanks.

too bad I didn't own a Clie when cliesource.com was around!

But this site seems to be quiet helpful....mostly because of the old posts from cliesource.com =)

I miss it very much but as wineprt said, not much to do about it. My wish for this site is a color change for the main page. I wish they would at least use the forum colors instead of the white/gray combo. That would warm it up a bit. But that's just one woman's opinion.

since clie's are no longer, it doesn't make sense to continue a clie forum. Eventually it will diminish into nothing (look at "visorcentral" -the handspring forums... they became pathetic after Handspring got out of the PDA business).

So, 1src is a great idea, combine all the Palm OS devices into one centralized meeting area.

Problem is I think it's going to take time, and yes many will not make the transition.

I used to keep cliesource on all day while at work... now I only occasionally check 1src. With no new Clie's coming out, what's the point? Palm hasn't made anything comparable to the top end Clie's.

Next time there is something good, recognize it and enjoy it as much as you can!

the only trouble is, this is (was) the best site anywhere online, and there are LOTS of people that need help, and still a few guys that are willing to give a hand. I am in for the long haul, I am learning more daily about my nz90's, going to have 2-3 gig in it soon, and you should see the pictures, mp3's, apps and games I have in it.
I just need a screen for my new nz90.
