this thing is crazy, i accidently sent the kard through the wash, and it came out working just fine! seriously what are the chances of that happening?

i think sony made a really good piece of equipment this time.

Actually it's made or distributed by intel

I hope you let it dry good inside the connector

Actually most of the chips are sealed anyway, so as long as it gets dry to prevent shorting it should work. We actually wash some of our circuit boards in a dishwasher (they get pretty gummed up) and let them dry. Works great. As a rule however I would not put my home electronics in a washer or dishwasher.

Very true, when power is left on and it's wet, electrolysis can start. It can ruin and corrode electronic devices fairly rapidly.

yea, the card actually went through the dryer too, it still works pretty good. yea i read up on washing circuit boards right before this happened so i made sure it was dry before doing anything, but i guess going through the dryer cancelled out the washer...hehe
