View Full Version : Got my NX73 back, bad results!! :(

Finally got my CLIE back. I've been away in Mexico for the past 2.5 months and I sent my CLIE in due to a loose wire in the housing. It was covered under warrenty so the repair was free. Despite the fact that my CLIE is repaired there are more problems with it that were not present when I sent the unit in.
1) Lower corner of screen squeeks like the side screw is loose
2) The "light purple" button will not activate the [ ] & " ' buttons. Yet the resr of the keyboard works fine.

Extremely dissapointing...
I will not send another Sony product in for repair, this is ridiculous.
Anybody else had a bad experience with Sony repair?

Why don't you ask sony support to reapair the damage they made?

U r rite, Egalus.... i have never experienced any problem with Sony Svc Center here at all, as I had sent my NX80V twice under the warranty claims....

Don't let Sony off the hook that easily. I realize it may take some extra time to get everything corrected, but don't let this bad experience not get your Clie fixed properly by Sony. I had to get my NX73 fixed under warranty and didn't have any problems. Get in touch with Sony and tell them what they've done and see if you can't get them to quickly remedy the situation. Just be assertive with them.

Sent it in to them the same day I posted this thread, got it back today. Works perfect.

Great News, I just hope my NX80 never has to go in for repair.
