Killing a MS

Ok I posted this morning about how I thought that I had ruined my MS by putting it in my wallet and compressing it with my ever expanding butt for 2 weeks.

Others replyed that they were being overly careful with their sticks while others were running them through the Washing Machine and letting their dogs chew on them.....

This gave me an idea.

I want to see just what it takes to ruin a Memory Stick. I will take suggestions and try them out.

So let me hear your ideas, now im not going to slap the thing into the microwave right off the bat, but lets see what kind of real word situations that our little friends *might* get into.

Ok I will go pick one up Tomorrow or Monday.. My plan is to save a couple of files on it then start doing what ever we can think of.

I dont want to Damage my NZ with a bad stick so I will use my card reader to check the data after each test.

I will take pictures.... with the NZ of corse and post them here.

Alright, swallow it whole with water like a pill. Let it go through your digestive system (not that you could stop it) and poop it out. See if it can take the acid. May want to use a laxy.

Insert the MemoryStick rectally as if it were a sedative for some type of large animal (horse, cow, pachyderm, etc...). Go to Taco Bell and masticate food heavily quantified with beans. When you feel a build up of gas, flatuate the MemoryStick out, preferably aiming for the MemoryStick slot on the Clie. (Hopefully no chunks went along with the MemoryStick, as it would rendering your Clie untidy, and probably rancid).

My friendsdog actually ate his memory stick and after it came out the other end he cleaned it off and it still worked. I dont see wy it would be any different if a human ate it.

after reading a post from littlesix in an other thread I looked for a subject that is worth my time, this has got to be it:D
how about various acidic tests, like viniger and cleaning substances, or soft drinks leading up to coke-cola (the worst of the bunch)

I didnt get to get it today..... I went to have tires put on my car and I need brakes.... metal to metal does not even begin to describe how bad they are..... SO I need to postpone buying the sacraficial MS till the 15th :mad:

BUT I did come up with a new idea, I was unpacking some things today and found my Paintball gun. :eek: I figure I can make a sort of Sabot round out of foam, with the MS in the middle that would seperate and leave the MS to fly on it's own once it leavs the barrel.

The last time I had the marker clocked it was shoting just under 300fps. I will try twice this way, once with the MS mot impacting anything to see if it survies the acceleration down the barrel and the 2nd time into say..... a wall at about 50 feet.

I think this would simulate a "drop" pretty good since I dooubt I would be able to get somewhere high enough to drop it.

Besides that shooting it is sooo much cooler than just dropping it. :D


What's even cooler is the GF is all for the idea, she said I break everything anyway I might as well have fun doing it once.

May be your MS need more power... with 110V can you convert your MS into a good water heater!!! Or what about a tasty MS toast for the breakfast? Don’t forget to put some butter on it!!!
