Just got tired of all the UX's quirks. :) That's all.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my new TH55. :D

The member here who bought mine (evilecho) got a great deal, and probably the best condition used UX50 out there. (i babied it) ;)

I dont quite agree with you. I like my UX very much, I think it is going to be the legend of SONY PDA. Since Sony not going to manufacture any more new PDA, you wont be able to find any other branded PDA with UX look and feel anymore.

One more analogy; I am so regretted to sell my Palm Pilot IIIc many many years back; Last month, I saw a university professor holding his IIIc, which evoking my sweet memory in the past - I wish i still have my IIIc, it is a legend now.

1-2 years more from now, you will see the UX legend....!!!!!! :D

You don't have to agree with me or not...when there's ad after ad of UX's for sale it says a lot. :D

Perhaps the news that sony is pulling the plug is filtering "must have new gadget" folks from "must have the best" people. :P

just bought mine not so long ago. dont care what people think im sticking to my UX :D. i love it to bits. 4 years from now (or even longer) i dont see myself selling my UX at any price. even if i ever got a new PDA, i wont be selling my UX. i bought it and its staying that way :D.

im a little dissapointed winexprt move to TH could learn lots, but who could blame him, with extraordinary battery life, who could resist? BTW winexprt i want your KEYBOARD configs man!!! :D. i wana fully utilize my keyboard, dont want to be using stylus every now and then. kindly list it out for us PLZ :)

I just used all the keyboard shortcuts listed in the manual, plus I used KeyQuick, which essentially reduced my need for ever touching the screen to near zero. With KQ, I'm no help. It's very confusing - written by someone who's first lang is not English, therefore the wording in the app is kinda odd - you really just need to turn it on. The default settings should be enough for just about everybody. Do a search on here. I remember a member posted a list of everything he could manage to figure out about KeyQuick. it was a really handy post. :)

Again...battery life on this TH55 ROCKS!! After reading AvantGo for an HOUR, battey level is around 97%!!! It would be near 40 to 50% on my UX50 without the EB40. SO LONG TINY BATTERY!! :D

Yea, but the real question is...do you miss the keyboard? I have both the TH55 and the UX50 and I prefer the UX50, by far.

I am still shocked you switched.

Honestly....yeah, I do.

I think every PDA in the future should have some form of a keyboard like the one on the UX. For entering in text, of course, nothing beats the UX's keyboard...but in pretty much every other category...the TH55 reigns supreme.

I'm kinda shocked as well. But I reached my limit with patience with all the UX's quirks. I had enough. Was time to move on. I really view the TH55 as the natural successor to my NX80V. I really never used the keyboard on it and that whole half of the clamshell was really superfluous for me. My TH is like a NX80V minus the half I never used.
