So my NZ90 has been acting up recently after having taken quite a bit of abuse for one and a half years, so I'm thinking about getting a new device, but the problem is that I really don't know what device can equal or surpass the NZ in functionality. I bought this guy full price when it first came out, but it seems as if Sony didn't continue this line, so now I've got my CompUSA free replacement plan, but I don't know what to replace it with. Any suggestions? The 2.0 Megapixel camera w/flash was very useful to me, wireless functionality is also very important (bluetooth & WiFi), along with of course the Mp3 player, etc.

At this time, you will not get the same functionality of the NZ without going to the PPC side, as there is no Palm OS device that has the feature of the NZ, i.e., two slots, 2MP digicam, flash, keyboard, etc, etc...

The new ASUS PPC looks very nice, BUT, you'll have to put up with the Pocket PC OS and the many layers of clicks and screen requyired to accomplish what many times can be done easier on a Palm OS device. I know from experience; I used both. The Asus MyPal 716 appears NOT to have a camera, the MyPay 730 MAY have a camera.

That said, there is at this time, NO PDA ANYWHERE that has a 2MP digicam built-in WITH FLASH.
Now, admittedly, it is this very feature that is the direct cause of the battery problems that everyone whines about with the NZ, but still, as you've found, it's nice to have when you need it.
The new PPC's are VGA, 640x480, and I've heard of no Palm OS unit existing or announced that will have a full-VGA screen. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I wish it were true.)
I would say to hang on to your NZ, or consider picking up a cheap NIB unit on eBay or somewhere else as a backup. I'm considering this very thing. You've been very happy with the NZ except for one major flaw: its size. I personally carry my NZ in a leather waist pack and that helps. It also fits easily in the front pocket of a pair of Dockers slacks. I have big hand and the NZ is a perfect fit. I don't use the keyboard nearly as often as I thought I would and would probably be 95% happy with the TH55. You might want to look at that.
By the way, all NZ-related accessories are on sale at SonyStyle.com.

Loox 720 and Loox v70 have similar specs.
Sony still sells the NZ90 at their website. Even though it is not used, it calls it refurbished.
