I guess this might be old news but the newest version of Kinoma Producer and Player now supports the TH55.

They have three presets when making movies for the TH55:
Wide-CCW (this gives you wide rotated the same way as in sonys own player)
Wide-CW (this gives you wide rotated the other way, screen cover on your left)
Normal (no rotating)

I'm pretty sure the older version 2.0.4 couldn't produce wide movies on the TH55, maybe I'm wrong though.

Alas I doubt anyone will use Kinoma on TH55 when the Clie MoviePlayer produces far superior results... ;)

True, but Kinoma Producer reads a lot more files then Image Converter and for those it's pretty convenient.

Their both good and I use them. Now if Teal Point would just redo their Teal Movie player.

I've been using the ver. 2.2 for months now....it's excellent for seeing trailers and showing off to your friends.

Here's a link for all the trailers you'll need

http://www.apple.com/trailers

You'll need a free quicktime player to watch the trailers, but to download to your desktop for converting them on the Kinoma Producer you'll need to upgrade to Quicktime Pro. Here's the link

Enjoy!

All those trailers convert perfectly with Image Converter so no need for Kinoma there, much better to use Sonys own program.

The trailers at that sight looked cool, but I couldnt see how to save them to my PC so I could then convert them and transer to the TH55. Directions for the clueless please?
