View Full Version : WiFi & Hotmail / Yahoo email accounts
I am using VersaMail, which comes with the Tungsten C, to check my emails. I would really like to have my hotmail and yahoo accounts available there to reply to and so forth.
I know that Yahoo and Hotmail changed the way we can access email from our wireless handhelds. There is a software called OneMail, but I haven't given it a try, especially since it will cost $29 if I plan to use it after the registration period.
Anyone know of another way to get my email besides going through the browser? Anyone know of anything free?
Thanks for your help.

I use NetFront 3.1. It can access both Hotmail and Yahoo.

I have read that this program comes bundled with Sony Clie's, any way that I can get it?
Thanks.

Well Netfront is just a web browser and you specified that you wanted a way to check it without going through a browser...
If the problem is you don't HAVE a browser, you might want to nose around the PalmOne downloads sites. I believe there is a web browser for Palm branded machines that you can download, or may already actually have on your install disk.
For Yahoo, the other solution of course is to pay an annual subscription so you can get POP3 access...but of course you also specified FREE methods ;).

I had the mobile version for MSN but not the one for yahoo. Greatly appreciated everybody's suggestions and options to how I can get my email.

Using NetFront 3.1, just go to http://www.hotmail.com and/or http://www.yahoo.com.
No need for sparse "mobile" sites when you can have the real deal.

hey Crazy,
I appreciate that suggestion, but I dont have NetFront 3.1. I read that it comes preinstalled in some systems but not sold as an application. Any suggestions then on how to get it?
Thanks.
