Tungsten C no audio in headphone

I do not get any audio out of my T/C through the headphone jack. I have tried tech support but to no avail. Any thoughts?

mmmm... I read this from junglemike.
If your earphone has worked before, try another headset.
Then try blowing on your sound/mic input/output (DO NOT INSERT METALLIC THINGS). And the best solution: try inserting and retiring your headset from the TC port about 100 (yes, one hundred) times in a row.

One thing that I have experienced is that not all 2.5mm headsets work on the T|C. The one that worked for me was a Sanyo headset which ran around $10 and got it from Walmart and also available in Target.
