Contacts and Tasks won't sync

I ran into a strange and annoying problem yesterday. I am trying to sync my T3 and it hangs up when it gets to contacts. It will say "Synchronizing Contacts" on the PC and Palm for an indefinite time. I have to use task manager to end task even if I tell it to cancel on the PC. The Palm will cancel if I hit cancel after a minute or two.

I thought it was my Win2K desktop at work so I tried it at home on my WinXP laptop; same issue. So, on my Win2K PC I disabled contacts in the sync and tried again. Same thing with tasks. I disabled tasks and it sync'd fine. So, I go back and try the whole thing again, same problem.

I tried deleting the contacts related prefs, no dice.

Any suggestions? :confused:

Try setting the conduit to handheld overwrites desktop. (It seems that for some reason, it gets screwed up and a change to the conduit seems to fix it.)
