Try searching other forum threads. There's a ton of posts regarding keyboards and drivers for the TJ series Clie. You'll probably find your answers there.

Best keyboard for Palm: ThinkOutside's Stowaway keyboard. (It is also sold by Fellowes with their sticker on it) It does not have the erratic performance of the IR keyboards, as long as you don't mind having to attach the Clie to the keyboard.
Only $29.99 at www.thinkoutside.com! (Don't choose the more expensive XT model)

The ThinkOutside keyboard is actually a really good keyboard. It's got the full layout like a laptop keyboard, and you can program in shortcut keys to bring up apps and stuff.
Personally, I don't see why you would want to use the IR port for a keyboard, as it will drain the batteries quicker than a connected keyboard.

why stay away from the XT? Is it bad? Or just not worth the money?

The difference between the XT model and the normal model is that the XT is silver coloured, and folds up to a little more compact size. That's all, and it's nearly double the price.

Is there any concern that there's no "back" on this keyboard to provide a little extra support for the PDA? If it hooks on only with the connector on the bottom, I would think it may be a bit fragile. Any thoughts?
Just don't swing your fist at the CLIE when its connected ;)

I've read through the threads and am confused as to whether the Stowaway (both older and XT models) work with the TJ37. According to ThinkOutside, the XT does not and they say that I should purchase only their IR wireless model. Can someone please confirm that either the Stowaway or the Stowaway XT (or both) definitely work with the TJ37? Thanks!

God, I love marketing people... They told you that you should ONLY get the wireless keyboard?? That's a good one, really. You'd easily be paying an extra $30-50 just to spend more money on batteries.
I've had the Stowaway (not the XT) for 3 years now. It works absolutely fine with my TJ37. The only thing you have to do is download the keyboard driver from the ThinkOutside website and you're good to go. With the Stowaway keyboard, there is a backing to hold your Clie up so you don't have to worry about the fragililty of the keyboard connector.
The image I've attached shows the backing for the Clie on the keyboard.

Thanks for your response, Daver. Yes, the people at Think Outside told me specifically that the Stowaway XT for Clie would not work with the TJ37 and that I should get the IR Wireless model. I'm glad to know that the Stowaway for Clie does in fact work (which I suppose means that the XT model does too...?)
My next question is whether the Targus PA830U Stowaway Portable Keyboard is the same as the Think Outside Stowaway for Clie. I ask because Amazon has this model for $15, which is an incredible deal. However, it states that it is compatible with Sony Clié PEG-N760C, PEG-N610C/S, PEG-N610C/V, and PEG-S320 models and NOT compatible with T415 and T615 models. I know that the TJ series has the same connector as the T615, but I don't know about those older models. Any ideas?
Also, does the original Stowaway for Clie have any advantages over the IR wireless model (besides battery life)? Think Outside is selling the original Stowaway for Clie for $30, but the IR wireless model is only $39 at Amazon, and the former doesn't have free shipping as the latter does, so the price difference isn't a factor.
Thanks for all of your help!
