View Full Version : TV cable output problem?

When I use my NZ TV cable output to my Sony TV, I can only hear the sound of my video but no video shown. Brought my NZ and the TV cable to Sony Service Center in Hong Kong, the service rep there can't figure out the source of the problem. I have to wait the technical team back from their holiday.

Any NZ owners experience problem with their TV cable output?

same problem from the beggining. If someone knows how to fix it please tell me

Unfortunately, the only images you can view on the TV are images you have stored in Clie Album. If you try to view a video or still image using the video cable from the NZ to the TV, all you will get is audio. To view an image, make an album with a picture in it, then click on the picture to view it in the Clie Album. You will see a video out icon (a TV screen-like circle with a line through it). It's yellow. Click on that and your image will appear on the TV.

I was very disappointed to find that the only AV out capability of the 90 is limited to the Clie Album contents.

It's not supposed to output video. Says so in the specs and even on the side of the box.... "still Jpeg only".... That it puts out sound under video is intrigueing....

Disappointed too. I also run a Sony 707 camera which can output its 15 seconds video to TV. Too bad NZ90 can't. If it's for JPEG only, the audio ouput is just for replaying the voice recorded. :-(
