I'd get the SJ33, because it seems to have about the same specs as the T665, and it's new so it's still supported by warranty, etc.

....Just because the T665 is old doesn't mean there isn't a warranty on it....

This pissed me so off:
I was winning a T665C on EBAY and, i was watching it and in the LAST 10 SECONDS!!! Someone bid like 10¢ more than me, and AGH I WANNA KILL THAT GUY...

So I was so mad I ended up buying the T665C refurbished on SonyStyle for $280 including shipping and tax

itll be here on tuesday or wednesday (yay)

I didnt really like the flip thing for SJ33 anyway

Not to worry RaptorX30, You'll love the T665c, no question in my mind. Because it's so good, I'm not even looking at any of the current crop of OS5 devices, they just don't offer enough added value over the T665c.
Not to mention the sleek looks and metal case.

665 is indeed a good device. You should def enjoy it.

I think you made the right choice! The t665 is the better pda in my opinion, it has the extended IR and the remote commander, its case is metal, and it won't get all greasy on the cover like the SJ33.

I was in the same boat that you are in.

I decided to get the T665C because it was thinner, had a better IR port range, and no flip cover that makes you look like captain kirk.

I'm going to do GPS with this thing in my car and the flip lid will simply get in my way. Yes you can go ghetto style and remove it, but it will look silly with the cover posts sticking out.

I also plan on getting the Otter Box Armor case that is water resistant/proof and crush proof for boating. It friggin floats. The SJ33 will not work in there unless you remove the cover and grind down the posts.

SJ33 is supposed to have better battery life and better buttons. I have to use the hold feature on the T665C so that I don't turn it on in my pocket. The SJ33 has the recessed buttons that are round instead of flat bars. It is better for games because the buttons are round.

Other than these things, they are the same from what I have learned.

I bought mine at best buy with the product replacement plan. $280 for the T665C and $50 for the plan. If sony releases another T series, I'll drop my T665C in the parking lot and upgrade to the new one without losing any money.Since it is discontinued, they will have no other choice but to replace it with a similiar product or upgrade me. Yipee.:D

You can set the unit to vibrate as a silent alert like that of newer cellphones thus reminding you of appointments, etc, without disturbing others. It's not very strong, though you can perfectly feel it in your shirt pocket or even in a jacket. If I'm not mistaken, only the T-series Clies have this feature. ;)

People tell me the T665C battery life sucks.

True? I need a long battery life.

Ima recharge it every night, but will it last like 4-6 hours per day?

It should last 4-6 hours, depending on your backlight setting. I always have mine set at 0%. Not off, but on the lowest setting.
