View Full Version : gplayer disappeared after hard reset
I had to perform a hard reset on my NR70V and everything went fine except that the video player (gmovie player) wasn't restaured. I've checked the installation CD and I found in the manual that "you don't need to install gmovie player on your clie handheld. The gmovie player is pre-installed at the factory".
Is there any way I can reinstall gmovie player? If not, can I use another video player?
thanks in advance

Have you done anything to your ROM, like flashing it or something? Because you shouldn't lose any programs held in your ROM unless you fiddle around with it.
I believe generic Media has stopped making gMovie, so I don't think you'll be able to download it anymore. You could replace it with Kinoma Player, which I know for sure is free. You can download it from www.kinoma.com. However, to make movies, you'll have to buy Kinoma Producer which I've heard is like $20-30 or something. Try using videos converted with the video converter you used with gMovie program first, because I THINK Kinoma Player can play generic Media formats.

You can download it here from Tucows:

Many other webpages have dead links, but this one for sure works.
Hope it helps.
