Hey,

Ive tried demos for some of the new OS5 and/or Hires+ Address book replacements... They all seem to be missing one feature the I use a lot.

Are there any out there that yall know of that are OS5 and hires+ which include the option for having a photo attached to an address entry.

hope someone knows of one... Thanks a bunch

I thought the built-in address book on the NX did that already??

youre right it does... Ive gotten hooked on it but want some of the added functionality that some replacement apps have... i cant seem to find any replacements with both better functionality and the ability to use photos.

AddressPro is suppose to be a Palm OS5 replacement that supports the Sony Hi-Res+ 320x480 screen.

As far as I know, it has more features than the standard AddressBook, but I'm not sure if it does the Thumbnail photo feature.

I saw it on PalmGear:

Check it out though and let us know!!

Thanks!!

You should let the people over at agendus konow of your needs, they seem pretty eager to know about improvements!

I've made several request to them about including the thumbnail photo in the AddressBook like the Sony...

But I wonder if that's not another SONY Propitiatory feature that if Developers choose to, or are not even allowed to use, would cost them BIG BUCK$$$$$??

Go figure, that's probably why we haven't seen such a feature on ANY third party program.

I agree, if you are interested in 3rd party developing including picture abilities in address books, let them know. Email developers of apps such as contacts4, tealphone, agendus/action names, and supernames. Then wait and see who releases it first.

I can write code, but not for the Palm.
At this pont in my life, I'd rather pay $39.95 or whatever for a program and enjoy it, if you know what I mean???

xlr8, if you'd read the prior post you'd get the drift.

Let me break it down for you: I mean I would rather pay for a program instead of coding it myself.

Sorry to seem defensive.

Gee, I remember those (oil change) days. I use to have a "creepy crawler" (I think that's what they were called).

And when you got to that last 1/8th turn just before the bolt was gonna release.......KAWA BUNGA DUDE!!
