Netfront just started acting up when I try to enter a URL address. When I write the second letter I get the following error: "Window 68k.c, Line:92, no shadow window found. The error message shows up in Crash which then resets the PDA. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts about what to do. It's a UK version TH55 so trying to get help from Sony isn't going to be easy.

Delete all the NF* files (that aren't in ROM) except "NF3BOOKMARKDB (your bookmarks). When you launch NetFront, the files you deleted will be recreated - clean, and should solve your problem. If not, the delete them all again including your bookmark file and see if that does it. You would have to recreate all your bookmarks in the later case. ;)

Thanks for the suggestion. I deleted everything including the bookmarks and it still crashes. Any other ideas?

Are you by chance using Word Complete?

Aha - not Word Complete but TextPlus. I did a hard reset and restored things one at a time last night and it is now working fine. AND for some perhaps psychic reason I did not restore TextPlus. I assume from your question that there is an incompatibility????

Being the ever curious guy that I am, I re-installed TextPlus and set it up not to work in Netfront. Netfront worked just fine. I then enabled TextPlus to work in Netfront and it crashed again. SO wellsjs - you were right. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm having the problems with the Testplus. So I'll re-install, but I cant seem to use Netfront. Where do I look for instructions on how to bookmark a page and how autocruise works. I've entered an address and tapped bookmanrk. I've gone to an address and tapped bookmark, but I don't have any bookmarks. Help!

The Bookmark command on the Open menu is just that - to open a bookmark. To add one, go to the Edit menu and you will see Add Bookmark.

Thanks spmilden. Now I'll get in there and play.

hmmm...good advice. I sure wish I could find a copy of NetFront 3.1 <sigh> I am stuck with 3.0 because it shipped with my NX80V.
