I downloaded a trial version of Snappermail which was no use to me so I deleted it but I can't get rid of all the files - there are two remaining. I have tried Filez and the Clie File Manager without success. Anyone any ideas? I remember reading about some software that cleaned up your PDA after deleting software but can't remember what it is. Does anybody use such?

Have you tried a soft reset then deleting the files?
About the software, I've been looking for a program also, that can delete a program and all files associated with it.

Search "NeatFreak" at PalmGear. It's two programs, Cleanup and Uninstall Manager. Working in tandem, they will not only delete "klingons" (orphaned files), but will also clean up any app specific entries in the Preferences file, which is the PalmOS equivalent of win.ini in the MSWindows PC world.

So NeatFreak will cleanup ALL traces of any program I delete through CLIE Files, FileZ, or ZLauncher's File Manager?

It works behind the scenes in conjunction with ZL File Manager but not the others. Or you can do your deletes from Uninstall Manager (best).

Uninstall Manager will keep your PDA free of junk, and the support is EXCELLENT! It's very highly recommended.

Hmmm... Someone told me that ZLauncher can do what Uninstall Manager does. Is this true?

Yes, I personally use the NeatFreak package. ZL will delete all files with the same "Creator ID" as the main app.prc file. Uninstall Manager and Cleanup go further, deleting Preferences entries. One thing I have noticed however, is nothing seems to cleanup a deleted app's entry in tab category, because you can reinstall a supposedly completely deleted app and it will automatically be reassigned to the category it was in before!
