New to Sony CLie NX70V

I need to learn ALOT about this new gadget. I had Palm for 10 years (Three different ones) till I saw this slick Sony.

Bought 128 MB MS. WHen I insert it on Media reader it want's to format. It works ok, I think, in Clie. What do I do? I formated on clie once (and lost the pictures I took with Clie...sigh)

MS Export: WHile installing, Error message appears: No Memory Stick or No Drive. What do I do?

Bough WIFI wireless LAN card for my home's wireless network. I have SMC router and access points. I should have checked but is this compatible with WIFIL100.

What is the difference between L100 and L110?

Has anyone tried Onemail program which download Hotmail and Yahoo mail without purchasing Hotmail and Yahoo's pop3 service? I can't get it to load. Do I need Wireless Card before doing this?

What are essential softwares and downloads, games, utility, gadgets, should I be getting to "fancy" up my already fancy Clie?

You will find that there are already answers to most of your questions just by searching and doing a little research here on this board. In general, all the things that you are asking can either be found in your manual or by searching this site with the engine. Bejeweled is my favorite game, you may like it as well. ZAP is pretty cool too. There are many thousands of programs on Palmgear.com and handango.com I would recommend registering a profile on both sites. Always save your sales slips when registering programs and keep a data base of your registration codes so you will always have them in case of a hard reset.

I agree, we're not trying to give you the brush off. What you are asking is no simple task with the voluminous amounts of dialogue that is available.

If you have specific questions, then by all means ask!

The difference between the WL100 and the WL110 is unknown at this time or if it is even a reality.

Always format the MS in the Clie only, no where else!

I know nothing of Onemail, I use iambic mail with my pop3 accounts. You can sync with cerain mail apps on your desktop without WiFi.

With the Export problem, is your clie hooked up when your trying to install the app? I always use MS Import on the Clie in tandem with the Windows Explorer file manager.

Ditto what the other ppl said before me. When I first found out about this site, I spend days reading through all the posts here. I found out which software to buy, what kinds of cases are available, how to use the WiFi card. You can't get this reference material anywhere else, not even through Sony(Except from your owners' manual of course). I still check here everyday for new posts and general discussions about the Clie. Good luck with your new unit. I love mine.
