View Full Version : Mail Sync Problem...

I installed DataViz Mail and didn't like it. I uninstalled it, but have since found that my Clie will not go back to syncing the standard Mail program with my Outlook. When I go to the Hotsync program, I see DataViz and Clie Mail listed (even though both have been uninstalled), but not the standard Mail program. I turned DataViz and Clie Mail to "Do Nothing", but nothing changes. I am using Intellisync Lite as my conduit, and have tried re-installing that, to no avail. Can anyone offer suggestions or do I have to uninstall everything and reinstall? Thanks In Advance!!

Done this myself several times. The easiest way that I know to fix it is to reinstall the palm desktop software from the CD, which will prompt you through the mail setup. After that you should be fine...

I have run the Mail Setup command and I have also reinstalled the software from the CD. Neither seem to help. The Mail option has just disappeared from my Hotsync list. Now I am wondering if I have to completely uninstall the software and re-install. I would hate to ahve to do that. Shouldn't there be a way to get at the Hotsync options?

I've always been able to reinstall it over the pre-existing version. I would delete then reinstall, but you could always call Sony tech support. :)
