Yes, I'm upgrading to the UX50 and I can't wait to get it in my hands.
My NX80 died last week, I read some other posts in the NX area with the same problem, there was even a thread with pictures of pieces of metal that came out of their clie. Funny, I had a piece that was identical to one of his in the pic.
Well, now it's off to UX50 land. :D I've been noticing these for a while and got to hold one today. I can't wait!

Aside from the obvious "you'll love it" posts, I do have a question, how much ram can I actually use on the clie? I only have a 128 meg mem stick and figure I'll get a 512 or gig stick soon. But, how many meg can I use on the device itself?

It's like Christmas to me, waiting to get my new toy.

:D

16Mb of main memory and about 28 of "internal media" (which behaves in all aspects as memstick, only built-in). So better buy bigger MS. I also upgraded from NX80, and changed my 128MS to 256, feel much better now :)
After NX80 16Mb main memory feels bad, but 28 internal are very useful! Typically there go all the programs that can be run externally (and everything you may need to keep all the time), and you get the freedom have on memstick only changeable things - like, music, movies, books, pics etc. This is very handy :)

hehe. you'll love it:D.

well has already been said 16mb main memory, aprox 30mb internal media. there's always powerRun or could always try out the aliasExt trick.

i've been watching ebay for 1gig sticks. I see they have 2 gig memory sticks now too but they are still way too high.

for music? :)
A pity that UX doesn't have NX's remote mp3 player control sigh
