I've just installed the Data Export application for my TH55. When I try to export a PRC it says that the file/application is not recognised and asks me for an application name and a default folder to put it in.
The above is all in the manual, but what I am wondering is what does it mean by application name? I'm assuming that it is a lot cleverer than just looking at the windows .prc or a .pdb extension. Would I be correct in assuming that Data Export on the PC is looking inside the .prc or .pdb file and looking at the creator ID to see if it recognises that?
The answer to my question above determines whether the name I give a .prc is just something generic like "Palm Application" or whether I should be labelling something more specifically like "FileZ" or "Sheet To Go".
